My Bio

Who I Am

• I’m an experienced project and management consulting professional with over 10 years of experience, currently based remotely, splitting time between the mainland US and Puerto Rico.
   

• My passion is doing great things with great people, and trying to leave whatever it is I was a part of better.
   

• My current focus is working with cloud-based Project Management tools utilizing waterfall and agile approaches, and a strong passion and interest for learning and advancing my Analytics / Dashboard / Reporting capabilities
   

• Most of my projects have been as the project lead for implementing or upgrading small to large scale ERP systems both as an external consultant as well as working on the customer side, custom software development, non-IT business process engineering and analytics (business intelligence) both in a startup and large enterprise environment
   

• I've also served as a coach and mentor to numerous internal/external departments on best practices, supporting and growing the teams and projects in any way when not the direct lead
   

• Outside of my full-time roles in project management and consulting:

  • I'm an avid hiker

  • Have lived in 4 countries and traveled to more than 15 others

  • Have a passion for photography, videography and anything aviation (private pilot),

  • Spending time with family that is spread out all over the world now

  • Volunteering in any capacity and lastly, but one of my favorites: 

  • Managing projects that are a little different than my typical line of work and sometimes done via volunteering free of charge. A few examples include:

    • language exchanges (helping others learn English and go through Visa processes)

    • learning German and Spanish (B2/B1 levels in both) 

    • building processes, websites  or analytics/dashboards for smaller individuals or businesses

    • applying and teaching project management to others in their industries outside of IT or software (health goals, macronutrient counting, strength/exercise programs, career goals, life transitions, healthy habits, mindset changes) 

    • developing apps such as an inspirational quote aggregator from twitter and discord for others to easily read and see
       

• I've worked all over the U.S. during my consulting days, and during my retail days I worked in the U.S., Germany and London, as well as working with team members virtually all over the world
   

• My goal in life both through my work and other interests is to make a positive difference in whatever it is I am a part of and to leave it better than when I started, to reach my full potential as a person, and to help develop, support and grow others.

I’m happy to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained in my career in order to manage complex projects through the full life-cycle. I possess a strong desire to learn and lead, to continuously improve and grow, to apply creative and innovating thinking and have a strong eye for detail.  I can thrive both independently as well as in a team environment.
